  • Redhill Academy Trust Awards

    Published 15/10/25

Hall Park Academy is incredibly proud to celebrate the achievements of two outstanding members of staff who were nominated for prestigious awards at the Redhill Academy Trust Awards this year.

Mr Thompson, former Assistant Headteacher at Hall Park Academy and now Deputy Headteacher at Tupton Hall School, was nominated for the Innovation Award. His nomination reflects his forward-thinking approach to teaching and learning. Notably, he pioneered the use of TikTok as a creative platform to support Year 11 students with revision techniques, making learning more accessible and engaging in a format that resonates with today’s students.

Also representing Hall Park Academy was Miss Talmey, our dedicated Head of Social Sciences, who was nominated for Secondary Teacher of the Year. Mrs Talmey's unwavering commitment to student success and her exceptional dedication have made a profound impact within the academy. She consistently goes above and beyond to support her students, making her an invaluable member of staff and a role model for colleagues across the Trust.

Although neither nominee took home the award on the night, being shortlisted is a tremendous honour and a reflection of the high standards, innovation, and dedication present at Hall Park Academy.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to both for this well-deserved recognition. Their passion and commitment continue to inspire staff and students alike across the Redhill Academy Trust.
