Year 13 - A Level Outcomes

In summer 2022, we achieved:

43.4% of our grades were A*-B

Overall average points score (APS) per entry is 32.05

A Level APS per entry 31.76

Vocational APS per entry 33.57

Given the uneven impact of the pandemic on school and college performance data, the government has said you should not make direct comparisons between the performance data for one school or college and another, or to data from previous years.

 

Student Progress GCSE English and Maths Retake

Any students in Year 12 and 13 who are yet to achieve a grade 4 in English or Maths will be timetabled for lessons in these subjects and will resit at the November or Summer series.

Average Grades

Average A-Level Grade is a C+

Average Applied General Grade is Distinction

Percentage of A-Level students gaining AAB (including two facilitating subjects) is 13.9% (National Average is 17%).

Average Grade for best three A-Levels is C

 

Student Retention

Percentage of students completing their Year 13 level 3 Programme – 89%

 

Destinations of Year 13 

Percentage of students continuing into Higher Education - 62%

Percentage of students continuing into employment - 22%

Percentage of students continuing into an apprenticeship - 6%
