A Level Results Day

Students at Hall Park Academy have achieved another great set of A Level and BTEC results in this summer’s examinations.

The vast majority of students achieved the grades that they needed to take their first choice steps in education and employment. These include places at some of the country’s most prestigious universities and places on much sought-after degree apprenticeships.

Freya, Head Girl, achieved A*AB and will be studying Biomedical Sciences at the University of Bath. She said, ‘I am delighted with my grades and excited to be going to the University of Bath. Thank you to everybody for their support.’

Thomas achieved A*A*AB and will go on to study Aerospace Engineering at the University of Bath and said, ‘I am thrilled with my results and really grateful to all my teachers for their support over the last two years.’

Fynnlay achieved AAC and starts a prestigious degree apprenticeship in Nuclear Business with Rolls Royce in September. He achieved one of thirty-three places from around ten thousand applications. Fynnlay said ‘I am buzzing about my results and can’t wait to start something completely new, that I never thought I’d do. Thank you to all of my teachers, who put in extra hours, to help me achieve above my expectations.’

Mr Crossley, Headteacher, said ‘We are delighted with the A Level and BTEC results that our students have achieved this summer. This is the culmination of much hard work by students and staff. This is the first set of formal public examinations that these students have sat. We are extremely proud that so many of them will go on to their first choice destinations. We wish them all the very best for the future’.

Hall Park Academy is part of the Redhill Academy Trust. Students have benefited from support from the trust throughout their time at Hall Park, including events to broaden their horizons, raise aspirations and support their progression to higher education. Hall Park Academy has a vibrant and growing Sixth Form with a new dedicated Sixth Form study area. Our Sixth Form Open Evening is Tuesday 7 November and we urge interested students and parents to come and see what we have to offer.
