Thank you for showing an interest in Hall Park Academy and taking time to read our Post 16 Centre prospectus. Moving to the Sixth Form is a big step and we are committed to providing courses, opportunities and resources that will enable our post 16 students to achieve success, whether that be in Higher Education, an apprenticeship or full-time employment.

We create an atmosphere in which hard work and responsibility combine to provide you with the determination and motivation to succeed. You will gain much from your time at Hall Park Academy and in return we expect a high level of commitment and endeavour from you as well as maturity, independent learning and self-discipline.

We will help you reach your academic potential, give you support and advice to follow courses in Higher Education, and provide you with opportunities to gain in self-confidence by being involved in a whole range of extra-curricular activities.

Before you make your decision, it’s important that you make an informed choice and take advice from your teachers, parents and friends already studying beyond Year 11. Teachers and support staff will always be prepared to discuss your choices and answer any questions you may have.

Hall Park Academy is sponsored by The Redhill Academy Trust. The Redhill Academy is an outstanding local school and its head teacher Andrew Burns is the Executive Principal of both schools and Carlton Academy with responsibility for their strategic direction: his vision is to provide outstanding Academies serving the communities of Redhill, Carlton and Eastwood.

Hall Park Academy will provide you with an exciting learning environment where you will feel safe enough to take risks and be encouraged to excel in everything you do. Our aim is for you to do well in your examinations and improve your life opportunities. At the same time we want you to be inspired and excited by your teachers, whilst enjoying your time both inside and outside of the classroom.

In considering Hall Park Academy, we would strongly urge you to come and see us at our Open Evening or during the school day. We look forward to seeing you soon
